My new year always begins with a bit of self-reflection. {i.e. How do I balance work with life, with blog, with personal endeavors? And why do the Holidays open the floodgates to mindless eating?} And year after year I set new personal goals. However, this year there are also the Life-I’m-Building-With-Husband goals. Instead of just me, it has become we. {i.e. How can we both live healthier? How do we share our everyday responsibilities? How can we create the lifestyle we want?} And while my personal goals seem to have me looking at the now, married life has me looking far ahead and much more confident about what’s in store. Not only is there someone to navigate life with, I’m so fortunate to have someone who believes in me sometimes more than I do myself. I’m so excited to begin this new year married to my best friend, and so excited about what we can accomplish together.
As 2013 continues, I hope to share with you some of our newlywed experiences with a new monthly series Never Before / Newlywed. And I’m so ecstatic to share with you a little peek of our wedding. Please note: many more photos to come next week!
