chalk, catalogs & christmas come early

The holidays are upon us – and so are the catalogs! Undoubtedly though, the one I was most excited to receive over the long weekend was the latest from West Elm. Obviously the gift ideas are fab, but more importantly, my incredibly talented friend Dana Tanamachi created the seriously gorgeous chalk typography and artwork featured inside. {Yay, go Dana!!} I asked what her favorite part of the experience was, and here’s what she had to say…

“My favorite part about collaborating with West Elm for this holiday season was getting to bust out the Christmas music way back in July! Here’s a sample of what I was spinning in my studio while the rest of New York was sweating outside in tank tops and shorts…”

“Also making my playlist were my friends, Zach Williams & The Bellow, singing Truckin’ Trees for Christmas. Download their free 4-song holiday EP here!!”

Hmmm, I’m thinking a few West Elm goods will be topping my wish list. Not to mention a copy of A Very She & Him Christmas… after I download that free holiday EP, of course.

Love Dana’s work? Read her interview with The By & By here, or follow her daily on twitter!
